February has been socially active at Signs & Lines. Proving that it’s not all hard work, we’ve been celebrating a swathe of Aquarian birthdays. We hosted an Aquarian morning tea last week with some delicious cakes (courtesy of the Cheesecake Shop)!! Then today we found some culinary balance with a delicious Wrap-a-Thon lunch to celebrate our wonderful staff. All puns aside, we are genuinely wrapped to such an amazing team and we wanted to show it.
The Wrap-a-Thon lunch was the brainchild of our self-styled ‘F&B Manager’ Richard. Sous chef support was provided by BM – Business Manager AKA Biscuit Manager – Josie! A vital ingredient for the Wrap-a-Thon lunchtime spread included rap tunes from Eminem, Baby Keem, Drake, Jay-Z etc. Yes, a cheeky play on words. As the photos below prove our team tucked into an impressive spread. With healthy and nutritious fillings, the wraps filled stomachs for our busy team, many of whom spend all day on their feet in very physical roles.
Unlike many ‘a-thon’ events, which are typically marked by length or endurance eg. walkathon, drinkathon; sale-a-thon, our event was positively quick fire. With a half hour lunch break there was no holding back!
One wrap, two or for some three, no judgement here.
To wrap things up (no pun intended) we love keeping stomachs full and smiles on the dials … after all, it’s not all about creating signs. There’s more to enjoy in the day. What better way to get to a man’s heart than through his stomach!!
