This June Signs & Lines was proud to help bring Trigg Bushland to Life with some new interpretive signage. We were proud to partner with the City of Stirling again. This has been a long-standing relationship over 12 years. For this Trigg Bushland Interpretive project we delivered over 40 new interpretive coreten signs for Trigg Bushland Reserve, fast-tracking the works to complete by then end of June 2026.
Designed to enhance the visitor experience while celebrating the unique natural environment, the project included the design, fabrication, assembly and installation of 52 individual signs throughout the reserve. The scope comprised three Trail Head Signs, one Identification Sign, 31 Interpretive Signs and 17 Directional Signs. The suite of signs created a comprehensive wayfinding and educational network for visitors.

Deadline Management
Working to a tight end-of-financial-year deadline, our project management team collaborated closely with the City of Stirling. It was all hands on deck to ensure every stage of the project progressed smoothly. Careful planning, regular communication and strong coordination enabled the works to be completed on schedule. Importantly, whilst deadlines were tight we needed to maintain the high standards expected by both organisations.
The interpretive signage incorporates vibrant digitally printed imagery. Educational content encourages visitors to learn more about the surrounding bushland environment. The signs were designed to complement the natural landscape while delivering clear information and engaging storytelling.
Manufactured at our Midvale facility, each sign features fabricated corten steel frames that provide both durability and a natural aesthetic suitable for the bushland setting. Rusting over time, these coreten structures will blend into the bushland. Our in-house production team carefully assembled each sign, maintaining strict quality control throughout the manufacturing process.
Installation Preliminaries
Prior to installation we organised ground scanning and engineering certification before installation. These important steps allowed our installation team to work confidently within the environmentally sensitive reserve. Safety management was also paramount.
The City of Stirling team also visited our Midvale factory during production. They were able to visually sight the craftsmanship and attention to detail involved in delivering the project. Here is what they said after the visit:-
“Thanks for taking the time out to show me the way Signs and Lines does its manufacturing. I would have loved to have spent more time there to learn more but had to have the car back early. I must say the way you have things organised and achieved so such in a short space of time is impressive. Pls give my regards to all the staff involved – they have done a great job. It was great to see it all coming together and fascinating to see what is involved.”
Final Wrap
Well done to our project management and install teams. The completed signage network now provides visitors with clear wayfinding and educational information. This provides a stronger connection to the unique environment of Trigg Bushland Reserve.
The City of Stirling expressed their delight with both the process and the final result. Their feedback reinforced the strength of the partnership and the value of delivering quality signage solutions. Here’s their testimonial from the finished work:-
“I’d like to acknowledge what a great job you did of getting the Story Trail installed on time. What a fantastic effort in organising, communicating and paying attention to detail through all the stages of production and installation. It was an absolute pleasure to work with you, thank you.”
