People Make Places
Yes, Signs & Lines is a signage company. But ostensibly we are a team of creatives. And we have several renowned artists as part of our highly talented team. We are proud to say that the people that work behind the scenes on our signs are the creme of the creme in the WA signage industry.
All our team are well qualified to provide the support required to complete major signage projects. Take our design team. On any given project we will use a number of WA based artists employed by our company to tackle the creative approach.
People with Experience
We have over 36 years experience in adorning buildings, parks, gardens, places of worship, learning centres and retail environments with an assortment of creative treatments. Signage and wayfinding projects attract our trademark approach of originality, imagination and professionalism. Every time! Our core business is design and implementation – making us ideally suited to meet both the artistic, application and safety elements of a brief.
The company was established in 1984 and has been under the same ownership for 19 years. We are reliable and professional. Our offices, workshops and storage facility are located at 5 Meliador Way, Midvale, WA 6056.
Importantly, the Signs & Lines team has a passion for making good looking works of art in everything we do.
Homegrown Talent
Our people represent a good cross section of ‘old-hats’ and ‘young-guns’ of the Perth signage industry.
The majority of the team are ‘homegrown’, having been with us through their apprenticeships and well beyond. This team use their skills of precision, quality, dexterity and accuracy to interpret design drawings into finished products on a daily basis. Sometimes this is in the factory, but also on an elevated platform, EWP, scaffold or other heights equipment in the field. Typically our staff are multi-talented. With these many skills come opportunities for cross-skilling. So our team will go above and beyond to get a project over the line by rolling up sleeves and getting all hands on deck if required.
People and Projects
Larger projects require the talents of our Project Managers. A signage project of size requires someone that can sweat the details. But, they must also think bigger picture to ensure the works are completed on time, budget and quality. The Project Manager becomes the key liaison point during the life-cycle of the project. Importantly, they will carefully plan and co-ordinate signage to ensure that it’s smooth running all the way to the finish line. Similarly they will review the safety management/OHS requirements and prepare a SWMS and Safety Plan in advance of works.
Our designer’s flair allows for for creative thinking and an ‘out of the box’ focus. In all cases we will bring an imaginative yet practical approach to a project. We are never intimidated by scale or size – this ‘can do’ attitude is instrumental to the success of all projects.
In conclusion, you can rely on us. To take a look at our demonstrated experience in the Case Studies section of the website. The people behind the signs is what makes all the difference – from the first contact, through sales, design, fabrication and right to our installers.
