I consider myself very lucky that every day I get to witness the wonderful things our team at Signs & Lines creates, crafts and conjures up. From buildings, shops, schools and universities to parks, airports, fuel stations, retail spaces and offices right across our state — our work ends up in some pretty amazing places. Consistently for the last 42 years we have proved our passion for making the finished product shine. At every touchpoint, the Signs & Lines team bring the highest standards in the industry to delivery exceptional signage. We are fortunate to have a team of highly skilled people who genuinely care about what they produce.

For me, that’s one of the most rewarding parts of running a signage business.

Visual Industry

Signage is such a visual industry. People notice colour, shape, scale, finish and quality — often without consciously thinking about it. Today I discovered these gorgeous painted panels in our spray-paint workshop. Jim and Mark had painstakingly sanded, primed and 2-pack painted each panel, and the result is simply stunning. Signage is often one of the final pieces of the puzzle that brings a space to life. And wow, what an impact it can make!

The final destination doesn’t change that philosophy.

Quality Paint Work

The quality of our work is something I’m incredibly proud of. It doesn’t matter where the finished product is going to live, or how big or small the project is — our team takes pride in getting the details right and delivering a quality finish every time. Flat, round, paint filled …

These panels are no exception.  Beautiful work, Jim and Mark.

Final Wrap

One of the things I love most about our business is that signage is genuinely a team effort. There are designers, engineers, fabricators, printers, painters, assemblers, installers and project teams — all bringing different skills and expertise to the process. And often, the craftsmanship of one person becomes the foundation for the work of another.

A beautifully designed sign needs to be fabricated accurately. A perfectly fabricated sign needs a quality finish. A great finish needs careful installation. And ultimately, every element needs to come together to deliver the result the client imagined.

It’s the craftsmanship behind the scenes that makes the finished product shine. But while the finished sign might be what people notice, there is so much more that goes on behind the scenes. Our team have the skills and attention to detail which ensures that all panels are 100% quality outputs. But don’t just take our word for it. Why not come along to our factory and see for yourself.
