No better way to end the financial year than with some great news! We can now officially add road signs to our list of expertise.
The team at Signs & Lines have been working hard behind the scenes the last few months to ensure our current systems, processes and resources not only meet, but exceed the current road signage manufacturing specifications. 3M, MRWA (Main Roads Western Australia) and the Australian Standards set these requirements. The manufacture and supply of all standard road signs to the highest quality across Australia is ensured through following the set requirements. The specifications ensure consistency – which is key for road users Australia wide.
Our key partner – 3M
We welcomed the 3M technical auditing team to our facilities at the end of May 2022. During the audit they reviewed our operation, team and manufacturing techniques in action. This is a vital part of the process to assess if we were eligible to become a 3M Diamond Certified Manufacturer (3M DCM). Becoming a 3M DCM is a vital step in the process to become an accredited MRWA sign maker. One is not possible without the other.
Our team’s hard work paid off as we passed the 3M audit with flying colours on our first attempt (which is easier said than done!). Upon successfully passing the audit, we were accredited by MRWA as a manufacturer!
The 3M technical auditor commented to our project leader that he was “very impressed with the cleanliness of the premises, readiness of our operations and friendly staff”. In addition, he said our capabilities and premises were classed as “really impressive stuff!”.
This feedback from 3M speaks volumes as to how seriously we strive to uphold our reputation as sign makers who put quality and safety above all else. After all the main purpose of road signs is to safely convey a message to road users.
