Signs & Lines has grown to operate at the quality end of the market competing with the largest sign companies in Perth. From humble beginnings, our in-house operation now allows us to design, manufacture and install a wide range of signs to very high standards. 

Our professional approach and strong reputation place us at the pinnacle of leading sign companies in WA.

Working through Covid19

Despite the disruption caused with the pandemic, our operation remains open and firing on all cylinders!

Onward & Upward

Our brand and expertise goes from strength to strength as our team continues to deliver major complex projects in static and digital signage. We completed our biggest project ever - Westfield Carousel Shopping Centre - in record time.

Yap!Digital

S&L Digital Signage rebrands to Yap!digital in November 2016 in response to rapid expansion of digital signage and interactive technologies in Perth, Australia and beyond. A team of 32 signage tradesman and professionals.

Entered the Australian Sign & Graphics Association (ASGA) awards receiving a Gold, Silver and Bronze award.

2013

S&L Digital

A new phase of evolution with two new additions to our signage stable. S&L Digital was born, reflected the exciting global trend towards interactive digital signage. Our stated goal to be WA’s leading turnkey digital signage provider remains today. The second addition was 3D lettering machinery from China to create a sub-brand known as Fab3D. 30 signage specialists on the team.

Quality Management Certification

Our QMS (Quality Management System) obtained ISO9001:2008 certification through a key focus on quality and process to achieve an excellent result for our customers – every time.

2007

New HQ

In November of 2007 the Midland and Bibra Lake operations were joined under one roof creating 1000+ m² of offices and workshops. 20 employees were part of the sign team.

2005

Goal Setting

2005 marked the start of an ambitious growth plan. A new plot of land was bought and developed for our unique requirements at 5 Meliador Way, Midvale. 7 sign professionals were employed.

2002

Second Branch

The business started to expand in 2002 when a second 'Signs & Lines' branch was added in Bibra Lake with Richard Cullin at the helm.

2001

New Owners

The current owners, Mark and Josie Simmonds, bought the business as a going concern in June 2001 when it operated out of the small (340m²) Elgee Road premises in Midland. At that time there were 2½ employees – a sign maker, a part time graphic artist and Mark!

1984

Establishment

Signs & Lines was established in Perth in 1984 during which time there were several owners up to 2001 including Chris & Jenni Macklin.
