WA SIGN INDUSTRY’S AWESOME FOURSOME!

International Women’s Day – March 8, 2021

Today we acknowledge our female superstars – Sarah, Robyn, Sue & Josie. Truly WA sign industry’s awesome foursome!

Signage is a male dominated industry in Australia. There’s no doubt it can be hard to find a role for women in signage. But, that’s not to say it’s impossible.

And what more proof do you need … our 4 superstars are managers in their departments and have each had over 8 years experience in their respective roles here at Signs & Lines. Women represent 16% of our workforce and this is a statistic that has much room to grow. We are always on the lookout for powerful, passionate, team players who want to be part of our busy team.

  • Sarah – Graphic Design Manager
  • Robyn – Accounts Manager
  • Sue – Production Manager
  • Josie – Business Manager

Today we celebrate each of these women’s achievements. Go girls!!

Some Burning Questions about Gender

How can we help forge a gender equal world? In line with the international focus on women we focus on 3 important missions:

  • Celebrate women’s achievement.
  • Raise awareness against bias.
  • Take action for equality.

For more on this important topic follow https://www.internationalwomensday.com/

The theme for this year’s International Women’s day is one that is close to our heart. Choose to challenge.  After all, a challenged world is an alert world. And importantly, individually, we’re all responsible for our own thoughts and actions – all day, every day.

We can all choose to challenge and call out gender bias and inequality. We can all choose to seek out and celebrate women’s achievements. Collectively, we can all help create an inclusive world.

From challenge comes change, so let’s all choose to challenge.
