Our EOFY Celebrations involved plenty of colour, laughter and team spirit. At Signs & Lines, we believe it is important to celebrate success, recognise our people and take the time to enjoy the journey together. On Friday 26 June 2026, our team came together to mark the end of another highly successful financial year with an EOFY celebration packed with shade, tone, tint, tinge and hue – plus alot of fun and plenty of laughter. So the afternoon kicked off with one of our most creative team activities yet – our attempt to create the World’s Greatest Human Fan Deck.

Every member of the Signs & Lines team arrived dressed in their normal clothes (although it’s fair to say some had gone to town on the colour theme!).  They then changed into our Fad Deck outfits – made from print media – transforming our workplace into a vibrant rainbow inspired by the Graphic Art Mart colour range. The result was an incredible display of colours. As usual teamwork and personality was perfectly reflected the creativity that drives our business every day.

Sponsors on the Day

A huge thank you goes to Graphic Art Mart and Avery Dennison adgraphics_apc for generously sponsoring the event.  Andrew’s support through the supply of media and prizes ensured the afternoon was filled with colour, excitement and plenty of memorable moments. Not to mention some very generous gift packs for our Bingo Winners! (20) Graphic Art Mart Pty Ltd: Overview | LinkedIn  Instagram

Special Guests

This year’s celebrations were made even more special by the attendance of two very welcome guests. Adrian joined us from Bounce LED – our main LED supplier. As a former Signs & Lines employee it was fantastic to have him back amongst the team.  Adrian quickly settled into the festivities, catching up with old friends and joining in the fun throughout the afternoon.

We were also delighted to welcome back Peter Monkhouse, who retired in 2023 after an incredible 29 years with Signs & Lines. Peter remains a much-loved member of the Signs & Lines family. He certainly put his photography and socialising skills to good use. Camera in hand, he captured many of the afternoon’s memorable moments while reconnecting with former colleagues and friends.

Bingo Time!

Once the cameras were packed away and the photos captured, it was time for one of the afternoon’s most anticipated events – Bingo. Called by none other than Signs & Lines co-owner Josie Simmonds [aka the Bingo Queen!!!]

The game delivered plenty of laughs, familiar bingo calls and some spirited competition among the team. With great prizes up for grabs, everyone was keen to hear their numbers called. Winners of each game won a fabulous prize pack donated by Graphic Art Mart – well done to Fabian, Jay and Louie.

Prizes, Awards & Thank Yous!

Following the prize presentations and a handful of special staff awards Mark said a few words. The celebrations continued with delicious pizzas, cold beers, bubbles and plenty of friendly conversation. It was the perfect opportunity for our team to relax, reflect on the achievements of the past 12 months. What a way to celebrate the incredible projects and teamwork that have made this year such a success.

Events like these remind us that Signs & Lines is more than just a workplace. It is a team built on creativity, friendship, loyalty and shared success. Seeing current staff, former employees and long-standing members of the Signs & Lines family coming together made the occasion particularly meaningful.

And to the Year Ahead…

The World’s Greatest Human Fan Deck is just one way to show how we take our jobs as creatives seriously!  Special thanks to our Chief Entertainment Officer – Richard.  Once again he took a ‘madcap’ idea and made it happen. Whether Signs & Lines are legitimately the World’s Greatest Human Fan Deck is a mute point!  The point is that the whole team are creative beings. We take imagery and information and create beautiful signage in all its forms.

As we look ahead to the new financial year, we do so with excitement, confidence and gratitude. Our people remain at the heart of everything we do, and celebrations like these reinforce the culture and camaraderie that continue to make Signs & Lines such a special place to work.

Here’s to another colourful, successful and rewarding year ahead.
